Fan 1st Day Box Office Collection: Business Income Report:After all the disappointment that Shah Rukh had been giving to his fans from few years with back to back commercial movies with neither essence nor story, he is once again back with an out and out story centric flick “Fan” featuring a completely different shade of Shah Rukh ever seen on the silver screen. Shah Rukh’s past few movies like Ra-1, Chennai Express, Don 2, Happy New Year, Jab Tak Hain Jaan and excluding the recent Dilwale had been block busters.
Fan promises to be a completely different movie in which Shah Rukh will be seen playing a dual role and how? He will be playing himself as the star and also his fan in the movie. If the news is to be believed, Shah Rukh had to completely change his look for the Fan’s character by attending the make up sessions for many hours. And boy! His look of the 20-something year old Gaurav is simply splendid.
Fan is all about a story of madness, admiration and an ultimate revenge. The basic plot is nothing but when a fan is mistreated, he will come back sure for a revenge. This plot may completely turn out to be a stupid one, but wait! It is Shah Rukh Khan and he will leave us spell bound with his performance as Shah Rukh Khan him as a star as well as Gaurav as his fan.
The movie is directed by Maneesh Sharma who debuted with the movie Band Baaja Baaraat which marked the debut of the energetic star Ranveer Singh. Maneesh later directed Ladies Vs Ricky Bhal and Shuddh Desi Romance which were both successful at the box office. The movie also has Waluscha de Sousa starring opposite Shah Rukh’s character and Shriya Pilgoankar starring opposite Gaurav’s character. Shriya is none other than the only daughter of famous Television actors Supriya Polgoankar and Sachin Pilagoankar.
Fan also has Deepika Amin and Yogendra Tiku playing important roles. The music of the film is composed by Vishal Shekhar and Andrea Guerra. The movie is produced by Adithya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films. The film was officially announced in the year 2013. It was also announced that Hollywood artist Greg Cannon will be developing the look of Shah Rukh in the film. Shah Rukh underwent 3D Scanning to get transformed into a 20 year old boy Gaurav.

Shah Rukh will be next seen in Raees which will also hit the screens this year. Raees is yet another different story that Shah Rukh will appear in. Raees will be hitting the screens along with Salman’s Sultan which will make the day the biggest Box Office fight ever. Dilwale was also released along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. Dilwale failed to reach the expectations while Bajirao Mastani won over several hearts.
